MEPCO is involved in the implementation of a 3-year project that aims to create training program and creation of comprehensive system of services to increase efficiency, transparency and quality of decision-making processes at the municipal level. The main target group are local councilors. The project fosters creation of anti-corruption environment. The main activities include the preparation and implementation of trainings for representatives (e-learning and online courses as well), the establishment and operation of IT-consulting center for representatives and a platform for sharing the best practices. MEPCO acts primarily as a project management and advisory body for the project. |

The aim of the project is to create a regional thematic network with national and international overlap. The main product of this networking activity – based on the exchange of best practices with the foreign partners – will be a handbook of process innovations in following areas: consultation work with job seekers, cooperation between the employees of Labour Offices and NGO’s and the role of self-government bodies within the process of designing coordinated programmes for unemployed. |

In the course of 2007, the company MEPCO prepared and organized a series of several educational modules, which were assigned to the municipalities of extended powers of level III (legal frame of public administration, communication skills, tax problems, and project cycle) and to the educational activities for the representatives of accredited and small municipalities of levels II and I (legal frame of public administration, communication skills, general and basic principles of municipal management). These trainings helped to enhance the quality of education, awareness, and knowledge among the communal representatives and the local authority employees, which further supported the quality of the functioning of public administration. |

In the period from September 2006 to January 2007, the company MEPCO organized trainings in the field of project management. The trainings were intended for two target groups: Euromanagers and Applicants. MEPCO was responsible for the preparation of training materials, realization of the training itself, and for the preparation of the final version of script textbooks for both of the groups. Last but not least, an assessment of the activity was processed through evaluation questionnaires. |

The Call Centre represents a place where its employees deal with phone calls covering specific themes. These phone calls may include an individual department as well as a specialized company that provides outsourcing services. |

The project focused on the analysis, diagnostics, orientation, and motivation of the target group, represented by young unemployed people and young mothers who wish to return to the labour market after their maternal leave. The main aim of the project was to create a bridge between the unemployed people (through motivation, consulting and educational programmes) and the labour market (through an analysis of the labour market in the region). The role of MEPCO involved a preparation of certain parts of the methodology (language skills, information concerning the labour market and the interconnection of supply and demand within the market. |
